Dr. PAUL QUARNERI, DC, DACNB
Dr. Paul Quarneri is a native San Franciscan and a graduate of Riordan High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Physical Education from the University of California at Berkeley in 1990. He obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West in 1996 where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the Clinic Excellence Award for his graduating class. While attending Life Chiropractic College, Dr. Quarneri received other various awards and honors such as the Excellence in Care Citation, being named to the Who’s Who of Colleges and Universities form 1993-1995, and being named to the National Dean’s List from 1993-1996.
Dr. Quarneri completed a 3-year postdoctoral neurology program sponsored by Logan Chiropractic College, which was taught at the University of Southern California, and successfully passed examinations leading to the certification of Diplomat of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board in 1997. He holds other specialty certifications in the chiropractic neurology field including: Treating Vertigo and the Dizzy Patient and Treatment of Behavioral Disorders: ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia and Autism and has extensive training in Traumatic Brain Injury and Concussion. Dr. Quarneri is also a Fellow of the American College of Functional Neurology, which recognizes qualified practitioners in the field of Neurology who demonstrate the skill level to treat patient’s with neurological compromises utilizing functional applications rather than a pharmaceutical approach. He actively remains current with various topics in the field of neurology through post doctorate courses and has completed over 2000 hours of post doctorate study. He regularly is a guest speaker on the field of Neurology regarding specific topics and case management to chiropractic students at Life West Chiropractic College.
In 2004, he became certified in the Evaluation and Treatment of Golf Specific Injuries and Swing Analysis. Dr. Quarneri has assisted many golfers in identifying weaknesses and the neuro imbalances in golf specific muscles, which may be creating injury and leading to pain and discomfort, and then prescribing a program to help restore balance, strength and stability throughout the golf swing. The ultimate goal is being able to reduce the risk of injury and improving quality and longevity of one’s game.
In 2009, Dr. Quarneri founded Neurolink Chiropractic and is Neurolink’s clinic director. He is in full time, clinical practice in San Mateo specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of various neurological and musculoskeletal related disorders. He has served as a faculty member at Life Chiropractic College West in the clinical science department teaching Neuro Diagnosis and Management and as an Alumni Board Representative. He was also a mentor Doctor for the graduating class of 2007 at Life Chiropractic College West. He has held titles of Vice President and President of a local network group in San Mateo, Business Network International, with other highly qualified individuals in their professions.
Dr. Quarneri regularly lectures either in-office or to health clubs and local businesses in regard to health-related issues such as Fibromyalgia, Detoxification, Adrenal Stress, ADD/ADHD, Staying Fit, Women’s Health, and Gastrointestinal Health.
Dr. Quarneri is a member of the California Chiropractic Association, American Chiropractic Association, and the American Chiropractic Association Council on Neurology.
DR. JADE VIEGAS
Dr. Jade Viegas, born and raised in Canada, was always busy playing different sports growing up. Her two primary sports were dance and hockey. It was injuries in hockey that brought her to her first chiropractor and inspired her to pursue a career in the healthcare field. She attended the University of Calgary where she earned a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree while simultaneously securing an Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal University in 2013. Upon graduation, she became a Certified Athletic Therapist and decided to stay involved with hockey thus allowing her to work with athletes daily. After four years of working with hockey teams, Dr. Viegas decided to go back to school and began her chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic West.
Dr. Viegas recently completed her chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in December of 2020. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and received multiple honors including Clinical Excellence Nomination, Fellowship Award and the Presidential Scholarship denoting maintenance of Dean’s List for all 13 quarters of her program. While in school Dr. Viegas was involved with a variety of clubs. She was a part of the hockey club, Campus Guides (where she held the Vice President position from 2018-2019), and was a part of the Sports Council (which gave her hands on experience in helping others in the community at various events).
Throughout her curriculum at Palmer Chiropractic College, Dr. Viegas also participated in a variety of post doctorate educational seminars in order to supplement her education. She has taken several Motion Palpation courses, Extremity Adjusting seminars and has focused on soft tissue techniques including Graston® and Active Release Technique®. She is eager to apply all her knowledge and hands-on skills to help you feel your best. When Dr. Viegas is not working with patients, she can be found in her spare time enjoying the outdoors or in the kitchen trying new recipes.
Monique has been with Neurolink Chiropractic for two years working as our office billing specialist. She grew up in the Bay Area and attended UC Berkeley receiving her B.A. in Psychology. She’s currently studying to attain a second degree in the nursing field. In her spare time, she enjoys devouring books, writing, and binge-watching movies and television.
Jenny has been working for Dr Quarneri as a clinical assistant for over six years. She loves her job and balances her time between work, exercise, and home, where she has two teenagers to keep her very busy.
Patient Care Coordinator
Michelle is new to the Neurolink Chiropractic team but has worked in an elementary school for the past four years where she must be quick on her feet while supporting her team. She moved to the Bay Area to further her education. She is happy to help and answer any questions you may have to ensure your visit is pleasant. She enjoys being at the beach, spending time with her family, and paddleboarding out on the lake.
